November 21, 2006 Board Meeting Agenda Item #28 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #7037 FOR ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE AND SERVICES Description Bids to provide 'Elevator Maintenance and Services' were received from four vendors on October 31, 2006.  The bid of General Elevator Sales and Service, Inc., was the best low bid meeting the advertised specifications.  This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bid of General Elevator Sales and Service, Inc., to provide 'Elevator Maintenance and Services' in an amount not to exceed $45,000.00, be approved for award and purchase.
